DualTrack (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the DualTrack mobile application.

1. Overview

DualTrack is designed to help users view and understand their activity and weight data by integrating information from Apple Health and Garmin Connect. We prioritize user privacy and data security. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

2. Data We Access

DualTrack may access the following types of data only with your explicit permission:

Apple Health Data (via HealthKit)

Step count

Weight data

This data is accessed through Apple’s HealthKit framework and is subject to Apple’s privacy controls.

Garmin Connect Data

Step count

Activity data (as provided by Garmin APIs)

Access to Apple Health Data & Garmin data requires user authorization.

3. How We Use Data

We use your data solely to:

• Display a unified view of your activity and weight data
• Provide insights and trends within the app
• Improve user experience

We do not use your data for:

• Advertising
• Marketing
• Profiling

4. Data Storage

• Data is processed locally on your device whenever possible
• We do not store your personal health data on external servers unless explicitly required for functionality
• Any data transmitted uses secure, encrypted connections

5. Data Sharing

We do not:

• Sell your personal data
• Share your health data with third parties

Data may only be shared:

• With Apple Health and Garmin Connect as required for integration &/or
• When required by law

6. Third-Party Services

DualTrack integrates with:

• Apple Health (HealthKit)
• Garmin Connect

These services have their own privacy policies, which govern their data handling practices.

7. Your Control

You can:

• Revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in iOS Settings
• Disconnect Garmin access within the app
• Delete the app to remove locally stored data

8. Children’s Privacy

DualTrack is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption, to protect your data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the app or on our website.
